This is the Vision prototype designed/built by Steve Rahm in USA. and still being supported by Pro Composites Ltd. in USA. The aircraft is a 2 seat side by side, scratch built from a series of manuals. Built entirely of fiberglass and carbon cloth material the builder needs to know or learn some of the easy basics of composite construction. Building began Feb. 1998 in my spare time with 7 years where no building was possible. Building Hours at February 28, 2022: 4248.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Some short videos of flights are at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfxJXIwvmfNlNF3gwplFw7Q

Radio stack, Upper cowling fastening, Heat muffso

I am working on installing the radio stack in the middle of the panel.  I fabricated a tray support structure and have three of my radio component trays installed.  December 2020 radio components sold and revised panel will be Dynon radio and Transponder.Top unit is a Audio Panel, bottom unit the Transponder and above it the Radio.

The upper engine cowling is a part I want to be able to remove easily so have purchased  C-Spec fasteners to attach along the aft location.  The sides are going to be piano hinge for a invisible separation line, the hinge pin is a easy way to undo quickly.  December 2020 the piano hinge is not going to work out after much testing.  The sides will now have 6 screws and nut plates which the flange will incorporate well.  The front end of the cowling will have 2 screws and nut plates on the interior side of air intake openings.

I have received the carb heat muff ordered from Robbins and will be connecting it up as well as the heat muff for the cabin air.
